Who we are

OBG Brass stands for Oldies But Goodies, and as the name suggests, the band is made up of around 25 mature and experienced brass players who still love making music of a high standard. The band was founded in 2004. It is based in Lyngby and is a brass band in the English tradition.

Concerts

OBG gives five or six concerts a year, among them a spring concert, an autumn concert and two long-standing Christmas concerts. We also enjoy taking part in SMUK (the Svogerslev music competition) and BrassBandBattle — friendly competitions for brass bands, where what matters most to us is the band’s development and how well we play.

Repertoire

The repertoire ranges from original brass band music through film scores to modern compositions, and is always put together so that it is a good experience for players and audience alike. We are also proud to feature solo items from our own talented members.
